The Rabi teams consist of independent market actors who provide specific services to the Rabi Foundation. The Rabi Governance framework allows for flexibility in adapting the Rabi team framework to suit the needs of the ecosystem.
Examples of Rabi team member roles are the Governance Facilitator, who supports the communication infrastructure and processes of governance, and Risk Team members, who support Rabi Governance with financial risk research and draft proposals for onboarding new collateral and regulating existing collateral.
In the not-too-distant future, it is anticipated that the Rabi will assume complete control, conduct Rabi votes, and fill these various Rabi team roles.
External Actors
The Rabi Protocol is a decentralized finance ecosystem that relies on external actors to maintain its operations. Keepers provide liquidity, Oracles provide real-time market price information, Global Settlers act as a last line of defense against attacks, and Rabi community members provide various services.
Keepers
A Keeper is a decentralized system’s independent (mostly automated) actor that is motivated by arbitrage opportunities to provide liquidity for various system components. Keepers are market participants who aid Rabi in maintaining its Target in the Rabi Protocol
